Book Review: Think and Grow Rich

When reading about mass interviews of successful people, they are often asked what book influenced you the most. More often than not, the #1 response is ‘Think and Grow Rich!’ by Napoleon Hill. While this book was written in 1937, it has stood the test of time due to it’s timeless principles and insights from some of the world’s most successful people of the time. The content is credited with interviews from Andrew Carnegie, Charles M. Schwab, Thomas Edison, and countless others that amassed fortunes.

While the sole term ‘Think’ may be incorrectly used. Many people think ‘The Law of Attraction’ will simply bring them success, or whatever they’re looking for, simply by thinking. There needs to be an actual reason for thinking these thoughts. If you do not have a reason to attract what you’re looking for in life, then you’re very likely to not be able to withstand tough times. Also, action is something of extreme value that many people fail to even implement. You cannot simply say to yourself ‘I am millionaire’ countless times without taking the action that will help get you there.

Overall, this is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read on the subject of success. I would go as far to say it is my favorite book of all time, especially since this is my 4th time reading it. I would highly suggest anybody looking to achieve more, or going through tough times, to give this book a read and allow it to change your thinking.
