Work Harder, Not Smarter

Huh? The title of this post may seem counterintuitive to many people’s mindset these days, especially with softening of the youth of America. We see people often exclaim that working ‘smarter’ is going to get them the results they’re looking for; however they’re unwilling to put in the hours necessary to make the improvements they’re looking for.

Whether it’s increased income, more listings, or a greater number of hours in the day to relax, the mindset is to do this efficiently do be effective. Well, let me tell you, it takes a great deal of hard work to set things up in your business or life such that the ‘smart’ work begins to gain momentum. Gary Vaynerchuk says to folks that exclaim this same ideology, ‘Well, I’m working harder AND smarter, b*!@#!”

Many times, the easy route is not always the most effective. You have to put in the hours to truly become great.
