When should I schedule staging removal?
I get this question often. It’s one of the more important questions when you’re trying to secure an offer and get the property ready to transfer to the buyer. You don’t want to schedule too early, only to have the deal fall apart, leaving you with yet again, an empty property to market.
We suggest scheduling staging removal 1 week in advance of the set closing date. This generally means waiting until attorney review and inspections are complete. You don’t want to wait until the last minute because you will still need to get cleaners in, as well as make any necessary repairs or changes the buyer requested in their inspection.
The key is to be strategic when wrapping up your property’s closing, with all parties involved receiving constant communication where things are at. This leaves everybody with the understanding as to when things will wrap up, and we want to ensure that things are pushed to the last minute with the sellers and realtors scrambling.
